And the spotting continues...

I am still getting brown discharge.

It worries me to no end. Every time I go to the toilet, it is there. Staring at me in the face.

How could I possibly think things would be different given my history?

    I still have everything crossed that it's just one of those pregnancy things. I don't have any advice on how to get through the wait but I just wanted you to know I still have every hope that this is your time. I can't tell you how much I'm wanting to hear your next bit of good news.

    brown discharge is fine - it's when it's red, specifically bright red that it's time to be concerned. bright red blood is new blood, brown is old blood, so there is a fairly high chance that the brown spotting you're getting is a sign of your little one digging in deeper to stay put for 9 months!

    I spotted for a month when I was pregnant with my daughter - I know how horrible it is not knowing what is causing it. Finally during a scan at about 6 weeks they saw a large blood clot hanging around in my uterus. Apparently they are very common and usually pose no problem to the baby. I was extremely relieved when the bleeding stopped though, and went on to have a healthy, uneventful pregnancy. I'm praying the same happens in your case. x
